How to pick Domain Address
If you want to start a new website or blog, you must pick domain address for your site or blog, especially, if you want to make money from it. (It means that you want to make money from your site or blog). So you have to pay more attention to choose domain address.
Domain address also represent you and your product, so we cannot choose it as like you put it from the garbage. You should make a research base on your niche or content. You should know that there are millions blogs on the net. And if you don’t choose it correctly, it can reduce your blog to become popular and succeed.
Ok, let me take an example. If I have a blog that talk about “SEO”, which one is you choose? www.grandmasterseo.com or www.glued.com. Of course you will choose the first, right?
Well, I have 4 tips to choose a domain address.
1. SEO name
A good domain address should be keyword rich and can help to get high rank in search engine, like Google, yahoo, Bing. Do some researches with keyword tool like Google keyword external to get valuable keyword. Then, pick one of it to be your domain address. A domain address can help improve ranking, so you should take seriously.
2. Relevant name.
Your domain address should be relevant to your product or content in your blog. It should give your visitor a description of what you are offering on your blog. Each blog post and everything about your blog should be directly related to your domain address. You should remember that Google panda algorithm takes more attention with contents on any blog right now.
3. Domain extension
Domain extension .com or .net is good for blog. These domain extensions are more SEO friendly. You will find some difficulties to get them easily. Because some of them had been choose by someone else. So, you must take an action quickly. Don’t be late. You can use “hyphen” to your domain adsress. (I.e. www.grand-master-seo.com).
Take careful thought in choosing a good domain address because once registered it cannot be changed.
4. Be simple
You know simple is better. It is easy to remember by your visitors. They will remember your blog or site easily. If they are need a product or information that is in your blog, they will go to your blog instantly, because your blog is on their brain memory.

I learned the hard way that if you are marketing a new product DO NOT use a cool name that you think sounds good. Use a name for your site that reflects the product at hand. You can always upgrade/update address at a later date, once you get some clout behind your website.

Everything you listed matters. I coached a friend on this recently when she was choosing a domain name for her magazine. She ignored the advice and choose poorly. Her traffic is low, and I would say that few people find it based on the bad domain name. What a difference it makes ot take a little time to pick a domain name that can help your site rank and get traffic!
