  2. It seems the game is always changing but I never see a sharp drop in ranks, maybe that means I’m doing things correctly.

  3. It’s nice to see someone who understands and is trying to outwit the Panda update. I too agree with everything you said, but one thing in particular… the “bounce rate”. It is IMPERATIVE to have quality content that the reader “stays” on your page for. If you have a quick bounce rate then Google will surely see this! Quality Content to negate the quick bounce rate should be #1 on any beginner SEO’s list of combatting Panda.

Very helpful information. Google Panda has been rather confusing, as the reports described certain websites as being targeted as problematic, yet all info has stated they went up or stayed at a similar level of traffic and rankings, which I find rather confusing. But I doubt Google screwed up that badly, and they rolled it out internationally at a later time, so it’s hard to believe they had the time available to review and did so poorly. Seems like it’s hear to stay, for the time being anyway.

Or, if your blog is wordpress base, you can use SEO plugin from Yoast. There are a lot of arrangement that help you to customize your article.

Quite useful tips to new update of Google Panda. I think links to spammy sites is one of the killing factors of seo of a website.

  10. My eshop really got slapped by the update because I had about 100 pages that had descriptions taken directly from the manufacturers website. Prior to Panda then it didn’t effect the ranking for the main page but after panda …… down it went.

I’ve rewritten all of the text and am waiting to see the effect

  11. Does that mean if we post unrelated links on blogs.. it would be a demerit or will decrease our PR..

    • admin says:

I guess if the links only a few, they will not decrease our PR site. But if most of our links don’t have any relevancy,
google could think that we had use links farmer to got backlinks.
